Are you one of those ladies who must have the latest trend or do you like to stay individual and adapt trends to suit your lifestyle, budget and personality? My stylish friends would never dress head to toe in either labels or faddy fashion. Style is all about understanding and knowing yourself and enjoying clothes. I was watching Gok Wan doing his 'celebrity wardrobe' item the other night and every one of them had a closet laden with labels. Are they just too lazy to go to the high street anymore or are they deluded enough to think that spending a fortune must mean better quality? We all know that's not true. I have been disappointed on numerous occasions with the poor quality and fabrics of these 'must have' designers. Shabby finish, pulled threads and cheap buttons etc. etc.
My advice is always to buy the best you can afford in key items like coats, jackets, and the wardrobe basics. If it's a bit of fun you want and something that's probably only going to last a season anyway then you can't beat the likes of H@M, Penneys, Dunnes, Mango, Dorothy Perkins, Topshop,Next. You'll be bang up to date without breaking the bank.
Right now I'm loving the treggings especially the 'stirrup' ones, we all wore this fashion when I was a teenager so maybe it's just nostalgia but I love it and think it's far more cozy and comfortable than tights for the winter.
So whatever you go for this winter be sure to shop around and most of all have fun!
